Return of the highly popular and reliable Zebra 2844 desktop printers

Because of the crisis in Japan, a number of Zebra’s component suppliers are struggling in varying degrees to meet the demand for their products. As a result, Zebra will be facing extended lead times on the G-Series and 2824 Plus desktop models starting in June 2011.

To help minimise the effects of this temporary disruption Zebra is extending the availability on TLP 2844 and LP 2844 EPL non-Ethernet products into 2012, until G-Series and 2824 Plus products are available again.

To help explain the temporary changes, Zebra have developed a range of tools which outline the differences between the G series and 2844, and also help increase understanding of how the 2844 printer is positioned against the rest of the Zebra desktop printer range.

*Please note that LP/TLP printers do not have ZPL programming language which is available on G Series printers – some developing of software will be required to accommodate the EPL programming language.
